Legs Blast Workout Routine

Sunday Leg Blast



We arrived at the gym a bit after 8am this morning… We love to train early in the mornings and get the meals in throughout the day to aid the recovery.

Again we hit our legs 2x a week right now and currently our trying to cut fat, while holding as much muscle as possible… In reality even bring out or increase a muscle size/look in the process… We tend to not really change our lifting style during the year at this time, but adjust our food intake to get the desired look we want… Never setting limitations on what we feel is possible to achieve!

It was a hot day, and even on the drive we could feel the heat and our bodies already began to start warming up.  Inside the gym the heat was even greater and our warm up didn’t last more than 5mins, still we wore sweatshirts, and sweat pants during our warm up… Of, course we stripped it down, as the training progressed, but it’s very important to get loose and warm, before blasting the iron. (We get down to as little clothes as possible, to watch our muscles we train & focus on any areas we need to improve on)



Serena has been a bit bothered from a slight hamstring tweak, and was careful to make sure she pushed far enough to get in some hardcore fitness leg training, but knowing when to pull it back, to prevent any further irritation.   Jeremy was feeling pretty healthy, but was rocking some sumo dead lifts yesterday, and made sure he was feeling okay on the legs, before he got really rocking. Serena blasted more machines due to her hamstring tweak, but finished with the free weights as she felt better. For example, Serena started with seated leg extensions, lying down hamstring curls, and finished with free weight dumbbell squats and lunges.  Serena kept up a pretty fast routine, and moved in between exercises; however, she rested a bit more to make sure her hamstring was feeling good.   Jeremy centered his training on Free weight Hack squats, and blasted many machines and free weight drop sets, from the Hack squats.  For example, He would rock some heavier Hack squats and then immediately hit the standing leg curl machine, kneeling hamstring machine, dumbbell squats, and some seated machine leg extensions.  He would perform all this without resting in between sets, and would adjust weight, tempo and reps depending how he felt at that moment.  This was all we rocked for our legs and probably did this for about an hour.
