Rockin Shoulders





   Serena DeVito & Jeremy LeBeau blasted shoulders & Traps at the gym this morning!  We had some really good energy going from the weekend break and a good night of sleep.  The whole workout lasted for an hour, with a 10 min warm-up.  We still have a bit of water retention from the weekend and both had some pretty good pump going after getting the iron rocking.  We aren’t so much focused on trying to get pumps going ,but we find the that the pumps help us lift easier.  Later in the week, when we start to get the water off and tighten up a bit, the body really feels the training faster, and we must be more careful with the exercises, in order to not tweak a muscle.  The weekend get-away has seemed to work well, and our focus in training seem to be a bit more elevated the last two days!  Again, we find that taking a little escape from training can be very effective at recharging the focus on our goals!

  In the gym today, we didn’t have a plan except for the fact that we knew we were going to work out are shoulders and traps… we find that attacking the iron and determining how the body feels, allows us to get the most out of the workout!  Almost all of are exercises today were preformed standing up in order to utilize more of the body.

We also trained calves and abs for a total of 10 mins at the end of the workout.  Most of the exercises we did were preformed with free weights.  We did use some machines at the very end to really stretch and squeeze out a muscle.
